Instructions
 

Cooking the Turkey

  • In a skillet over medium heat, add a splash of olive oil. Once hot, toss in the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant (about 2 minutes).
  • Add the ground turkey, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Season with cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper.

Adding Pineapple

  • Once the turkey is cooked through, gently fold in the diced pineapple.
  • Allow it to simmer for another 2-3 minutes, letting the flavors meld together beautifully.

Preparing the Tortillas

  • In another pan, warm your tortillas slightly until they become pliable.

Assembling the Tacos

  • Scoop the turkey and pineapple mixture into each tortilla. Be generous!

Garnishing

  • Top off your tacos with fresh cilantro and optional toppings like avocado, lime juice, or salsa.

Notes

For best results, use fresh ingredients and taste the mixture to adjust seasoning as necessary. Don't overcrowd the pan while cooking.
