Instructions
 

  • Prep the Carrots
  • Peel and slice carrots evenly for consistent cooking.
  • Pat dry to remove excess moisture.
  • Cook the Carrots
  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add butter and allow it to melt.
  • Add carrots and stir to coat evenly.
  • Cook 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Add the Glaze
  • Stir in honey, salt, pepper, and thyme (if using).
  • Continue cooking 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Carrots should become fork-tender and lightly caramelized.
  • If needed, cover briefly to help soften faster.
  • Finish
  • Remove from heat and let rest 2–3 minutes.
  • Garnish with parsley or a light drizzle of honey before serving.

Notes

  • Avoid overcrowding the pan for even caramelization.
  • If glaze thickens too much, add 1 tablespoon water.
  • For baby carrots, extend cook time slightly.
