Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cans cans tuna (3.5oz) — drained well and flaked with a fork
  • 3 pieces chilled hard-boiled eggs — peeled and chopped
  • 1/4 cup chopped red onion
  • 2 tablespoons pickle relish

Dressing Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup mayo
  • 1/2 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper — to taste

Instructions

Preparation

  • Begin by boiling the eggs. Once they’re hard-boiled, let them cool, peel, and chop them into small pieces.
  • Drain the tuna well to remove excess liquid.

Mixing

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the drained tuna, chopped eggs, red onion, and pickle relish.
  • In a separate bowl, mix your mayo, dijon mustard, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Adjust the seasoning according to your taste preference.
  • Pour the dressing over the tuna mixture and stir gently until all ingredients are well combined.

Serving

  • For enhanced flavor, let the salad chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before serving.
  • Serve your Healthy Tuna Egg Salad on a bed of mixed greens, in a sandwich, or in lettuce wraps.

Notes

For the best flavor, always use fresh ingredients. Consider adding chopped fresh herbs or diced vegetables for extra texture. You can also substitute mayo with Greek yogurt for a lighter option.
