  • 1 ripe banana fresh or frozen
  • 1 orange peeled and segmented (seeds removed)
  • 1 cup pineapple fresh or frozen
  • 1 –2 cups leafy greens spinach preferred; kale works too
  • Creamy Base
  • ¾ –1 cup milk or plant-based milk almond, oat, or coconut
  • ¼ cup Greek yogurt or dairy-free yogurt
  • Optional Boosters
  • 1 –2 teaspoons lemon or lime juice
  • Ice as needed for thickness
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds or ground flaxseed

Instructions
 

  • Prep
  • Wash greens thoroughly.
  • Peel and segment the orange. Measure fruit and liquids.
  • Blend
  • Add liquid to the blender first.
  • Add banana, orange, pineapple, and greens.
  • Add yogurt and any optional boosters.
  • Finish
  • Blend on high for 30–60 seconds until completely smooth.
  • Adjust thickness with more liquid or ice if needed.
  • Serve
  • Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately. Garnish if desired.

Notes

  • Spinach is the mildest green—great if you’re new to green smoothies.
  • For extra creaminess, use frozen banana or pineapple.
