Protein Brownie Bites

Liyana
These protein brownie bites are fudgy, rich, and deeply chocolatey—without the dry, chalky texture common in protein desserts. Made with Greek yogurt, chocolate protein powder, and cocoa powder, they’re high in protein, easy to portion, and perfect for meal prep. Ideal for post-workout snacks, healthy desserts, or anytime chocolate cravings hit.

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup plain unsweetened Greek yogurt
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ cup peanut butter or almond butter
  • ¼ cup honey maple syrup, or sugar-free sweetener (to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup chocolate protein powder whey or plant-based
  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup mini chocolate chips optional
  • Cooking spray or parchment liners

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a mini muffin pan or line with parchment liners.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, eggs, nut butter, sweetener, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Add protein powder, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Stir until just combined.
  • Fold in mini chocolate chips if using.
  • Spoon batter into the prepared pan, filling each cup about ¾ full.
  • Bake for 10–14 minutes, until tops are set and slightly cracked.
  • Cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • Do not overbake—these bites firm up as they cool and stay fudgy inside.
  • Texture depends heavily on protein powder quality; choose one you enjoy the taste of.
  • For cleaner bites, chill for 20 minutes before serving.
  • Naturally gluten-free as written.
